The Cubby design approach addresses the challenges of home deliveries with a comprehensive user-centered design system that incorporates an IOT delivery box with smart home security features, and a concierge-level app with real-time tracking and alerts, integrated courier access, and temperature monitoring.
The complete project achieved significant milestones, including a successful proof of concept with courier integration, prototype validation, and the execution of hundreds of secure deliveries.

Remote delivery monitoring: Monitor your packages in real-time, and receive notifications and updates on package status, providing valuable security information and peace of mind.
Delivery recording, alerts, and tracking: Keep track of the arrival of multiple packages from multiple carriers in one centralized app, including delivery images, video clips, and custom delivery information. The integrated calendar helps you stay organized and provides a convenient reference for past and future deliveries.
Sharing Lock Codes: Share lock codes with trusted delivery agents. Ensure authorized individuals can securely access CUBBY to drop off or retrieve packages, even when you're not at home. Streamline the delivery process and minimize the risk of missed deliveries.
Temperature Monitoring: Monitor the internal temperature of the CUBBY box to ensure that food and groceries stay fresh and are stored at the optimal temperature until you can retrieve them.
